
Bill Birdsall, Esq

William “Bill” Birdsall is an attorney, entrepreneur, and medical device executive with more than three decades of leadership experience building innovative companies across the bioscience, technology, and real estate sectors. Mr. Birdsall has led the development and regulatory strategy of multiple medical device programs, including successful submissions under the FDA 510(k) and PMA pathways as well as European CE Mark approvals. He has overseen clinical development activities ranging from feasibility studies to randomized clinical trials and has directed cross-functional regulatory and commercialization teams in bringing new technologies to market.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Birdsall served as Founding Executive Vice President of Ticketmaster, Inc., where he helped build the company from an early-stage startup into a global leader in live entertainment ticketing. He has since founded and led several growth-stage ventures, including guiding two companies through public market transactions. Mr. Birdsall has also served in public service roles at both the federal and state levels. He worked as legal counsel to the U.S. House Interior Committee and the Joint Senate–House Oversight Committee for the Office of Technology Assessment.
He later served as Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona, representing the Arizona Department of Health Services in the enforcement of state health and safety laws. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona College of Law and has completed postgraduate legal studies at both Harvard Law School and Pepperdine University School of Law. At bioDesign Group Technologies, Mr. Birdsall leads the company’s global regulatory strategy, product innovation initiatives, and long-term commercialization planning focused on advancing safer, more efficient medical technologies.
